6 things Christians must do every day to get in touch with God

To be a successful Christian, we must keep to the Kingdom rules which have been set before the world began.
From Genesis to revelation, God commanded us to  be spiritually alive so as to get everything we desire here on earth and then in eternity.
Today, we will be looking at six important things that must not be neglected if we want to keep in touch with heaven.
  1. Prayer:

Speaking to his disciples in Luke 18:1, Jesus said “men ought always to pray and not to faint.” This means that prayer is very important in
the race for the Kingdom. A Christian who does not pray is a careless Christian and he is prone to errors and to sin.
Prayer is a means of securing divine help from God. It is seeking divine intervention, over any given situation on the basis of the word of God.
A prayerful Christian is a powerful Christian. When you are prayerful, you become untouchable to the devil.

        2. Bible study:

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed…” 2 Timothy 2:15. When you are studious, devil will be afraid of you because he know that you knew all his tricks.
Having the knowledge of God through constant Bible study brings success on your ways.
“This book of the law shall not depart out from thy mouth, but thou shath medidate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shath have good success.” Joshua 1:8.
Constant study will make you know the power in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is a Spiritual bunker. When you invoke the efficacy of the name, evil is dissipated and your protection is sure.
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” Psalms 20:7.
You will remember the name of Jesus by constant studying because, what you read is what is will remember.

2       3Soul-winning:

Soul-winning is what heaven recognizes most, not your tithe and offering. Jesus was firm when giving his disciples command to “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15. Soul-winning is the heart beat of God.
The more you win souls for Christ, the more you become wise; “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” Proverbs 11:30.

          4.Daily walk in Spirit:

The command to walk in Spirit cannot be overemphasis. When you walk in the Spirit you became dead to flesh in Christ.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet nit I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God, who love me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20.
Apostle Paul admonishing the church in Galatians commanded them to walk in the Spirit if they are to overcome the flesh.
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16.
If you want to walk in the nature of God, you must be open to the Spirit at all times.

        5. Obedience to the Word of God:

Obedience makes way for generation after you. It was the obedient nature of Abraham that makes us enjoy the blessings of Abraham. Abraham and his seed obtained favour from God because of his obedient nature.
“And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.” Genesis 22:18
If you must obtain favour from God, then you must be recognized as a man of obedience.
You are called the servant to whom you obeyed;
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness?” Romans 6:16

         6. You must be born-again:

If you want to be in touch with God, the first thing you must do is to accept Christ into your life; because, outside Christ you will remain in crisis and you will be worthless.

“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold; all things are become new.” Corinthians 5:17
