The Scripture: The Inseparable Link

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” Joshua 1:8 (KJV).

Every thing we need to succeed in life is in the scripture. You cannot breath life without the scripture. The Bible is a divine approved Book that contains
every issue of life, no wonder Paul the Apostle in 2 Timothy 2:15 admonished believers to “Study to show thyself approved unto God…”which implies that studying the word of God makes you a better Christian you ought to be in “this present evil word” Galatians 1:4.

We are molded and sharpened by what we read. It is very unfortunate that many so-called believers read newspapers daily without taking time to read the MOST important book of the Kingdom, the Bible. You are daily equipped when you go out for your daily activities after reading the Scriptures.

You cannot discover who you are in Christ until you have gotten the picture of yourself from the Scriptures. Jesus searched the Scriptures and “found the place where it was written” “the Spirit of Lord was upon me” Luke 4: 17 and 18. If Jesus could read the scripture, then, who are you not to read the scripture? You can not go far in spiritual realm when you are void of the knowledge of God.

The key to life and success is in the Bible. The Bible should be read daily in your home in order to build the mind of each member of the family. It should be read in your organization. Don’t decorate your library with Bible without taking time each day to read it. We speak to God through prayer and God reveals His mind and will to us through the Scriptures, therefore, when you are not reading the Scriptures you will not know the mind of God. The scripture is inseparably link with the Holy Spirit, who is our teacher concerning godly issues. Friend, do you take time to open and read the words of God?
