Heaven at last

“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heaven” 2 Corinthians 5: 1
The hope of every believe should transcend earthly gains
and materialism, which seem to be the focus of many modern-day gospel preachers. Inspired by the Holy Spirit. Paul the Apostle wrote:”If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable” 1Corinthians 15:19.
This should prompt us to make heaven our primary goal at all times.
Heaven is the abode of the Almighty God, the city of the angels and of the saints. The glory of heaven is unfathomable and its beauty is beyond comparison. Thus, there must be adequate preparation in order to get there.
There must be separation from sin, worldly allurement and all appearances of evil. There must be daily victorious Christian living, watchfulness and endurance to be able to make it to the glorious abode, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved”  Matthew 24:13.
The worse thing that could happen to anyone is to miss happen. Such a one will spend eternity in hell fire under direct torment by Satan and his legions of vicious demons. Hell is characterized by weeping and gnashing of teeth. There will be painful cries of regret by those who shunned the grace of God and rejected His salvation. At the same time, the saint shall have their tears wiped away from their faces. They shall put on white robes and on their heads. They shall continue singing praises and   rejoicing in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. No room for sickness, hunger, oppression and struggling or distress. It shall be and peace and joy unspeakable and full of glory.
Dear reader, where do you stand? How are you living your life now? Will you make it to heaven at last or will you cry “Oh no, had I know?” it is not too late to make the right choice. Turn way from sin and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savor. Plead for His grace always to remain steadfast and blameless. Be determined and uncompromising – heaven shall be your portion at last in Jesus’ name!
