Weekend exaltation – Let this mind be in you

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” Philippians 2:5
“Let this mind be in you…” What is the mindset that must in us if we are going to live like Christ?

Christ lived an exemplified life during his earthly ministry and expects us to follow his steps and it was recorded that “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow hi s steps” – 1 Peter 2: 21.  Christ has a meek mind and we are supposed to follow his steps by being meek in heart, that is the reason he told his disciples that “Blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth” Matthew 5:5.

Dear reader, this short exaltation is aimed at reminding you on the importance of renewing our mind and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4:23 admonishes us to “be renewed in the Spirit of the mind” which is the central part of our relationship with Christ if we are going to make heaven in the end. Our spirit must be renewed if we are going to get in touch with God. A stubborn and hardened heart cannot get connected with heaven in any way except that heart is brought to the cross of Christ for cleansing and purging with in blood of Jesus which was shed on the cross at Calvary.  Christ call for renewal of our mind is very essential in our pursuit to heaven.
The condition of our mind tells where we belong to. Some people walks in the vanity of their mind, Ephesians 4:17.
How can we renew our mind? This can be achieved through constant:
Personal Bible study,
Prayer and fasting,
Faith development,
Proclaiming of the word of God/ evangelism, etc
Like Paul the apostle, I will like to exalt you to renew your mind in the knowledge of God also be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you, in Jesus’ name!
I will also leave you with these words; that is being:
Patience in your pursuit in life and remember that faithful is he that have made the promises to you.
Pray without ceasing.  Prayer ushers you into the presence of God. With a renewed mind, you will get whatsoever you desire from God. The Bible said “…what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” Mark 11:24.
Watchful and vigilant.
Let the people around you hear the word of God through you.
Share this exaltation with your friends on social media; I tell you, you will be on top.
